got a big group coming over.or a large camping outing.this will fill um up for a wile. may seam like a lot of wor.but realy it's not. and you wont have any left overs.

1lb Bacon Fried,crumbled
½lb Dried Beef Chopped
12oz Mushrooms
1 Large Onion Diced
4 cloves Garlic Diced
1 stick Butter, divided
½ cup Flour
1 qt Milk
Salt & Pepper, to taste
16 Eggs
1 cup Evaporated Milk
6-8 drops Hot Sauce


Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.

In a bowl combine bacon, dried beef, and half of mushrooms.

In a skillet, add 1/4 cup butter. Stir in flour until bubbling, then add milk, salt and pepper. Cook and stir over med heat until cream sauce is formed. Remove from heat. Add bacon mixture to sauce, set aside.

In a bowl mix eggs, evaporated milk, hot sauce and salt. Melt remaining butter in the other skillet. Add egg mixture, and scramble over medium heat.

Apply cooking spray to a large casserole dish. Alternate layers of bacon mixture, then egg mixture, ending with a layer of bacon mixture garnish with remaining mushrooms, and hot sauce. Cover and bake for 1 hour.

Helpful Tips:

I used 2 12" cast iron skillets to make this.
